W. Lloyd Stanley, Jr. is a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga area and is a graduate of the public schools of the city. Lloyd received his law degree in 1965 from the University of Tennessee College of Law. He was released from the Air Force with the rank of Captain. He has served on various local, statewide, and national boards and is an active member of the Chattanooga Civitan Club.
